Biography of KATHLEEN MARGARET ENGLAND

ENGLAND, Kathleen Margaret  FCA  (1908-active 1999).  Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, England attended the Vancouver School of Art and studied under Platon Ustinof and B.C. Binning. She also studied with well-known Canadian watercolourist Thomas Fripp in the 1920s. England painted Vancouver and B.C. scenes, landscapes, florals and still life in oil and watercolour. A founding member of the FCA she exhibited her work at the VAG and UBC.
