Biography of KAROLL DALYCE BRINTON

Born the fourth of seven children and raised on a farm near Barrhead, Alberta, Karoll's fascination with her rural surroundings was the source of inspiration for much of her artwork. She began honing her skills from the time she was nine and competed against adults in all creative endeavors, winning a multitude of competitions. She enrolled in adult art classes from the age of twelve and continued until her 17th year. At which time she enrolled in a landscape course and life drawing courses through the University of Alberta's extended programs. Karoll has always had a maverick style of ensuring her success as a professional artist. As a young adult, she conducted her own solo shows, selling the majority of her creations this way.
