Biography of RICHARD (DICK) FERRIER

FERRIER, Richard (Dick) (1928 - ): Born in Oshawa, Ontario, Ferrier studied in Oshawa and at the Ontario College of Art, Toronto (1950-53). He was Art Director of MacLean-Hunter Ltd. in Toronto and worked as a consultant in the graphics art trade. He has been painting full-time since 1970. Working in oil and acrylic, Ferrier is best known for his Alberta landscapes but he has also painted across Canada including British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia.
