Biography of DOUGLAS A. MANNING

MANNING, Douglas A. (1921-  ). Born in London, England, Manning studied at the London Central School of Art. He came to Canada in 1957. Working in oil, watercolour and pastel, he paints Canadian wildlife in a realistic style. He also produces limited edition prints and plates. He has worked as a film decorator for Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer, England, a commercial artist in Toronto, and at the National Film Board in Montreal. He exhibited at the Universal Museum of Hunting and Wildlife in 1986.
