Biography of JOHN AUSTIN RICHARDS

RICHARDS, John Austin (1945 - ): Born in Calgary, Richards painted his first pictures after he had read the biography of Toulouse Lautrec. He moved to Vancouver and attended UBC briefly studying art history. His palette consists primarily of ultramarine blue,mauve, alarizin crimson, olive green, cadmium yellow, raw sienna and sinc white. He was active in Vancouver in the 1960s and 1970s.
