Biography of MARY PAVEY

PAVEY, Mary RCA, OSA (1938 - ): Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Pavey moved to Toronto in 1953. She studied at the Ontario College of Art and graduated with honours; she travelled and studied in Europe including at the Grande Chaumiere, Paris.  Working primarily in oil she is best known for her colourful, often whimsical depictions of room and table settings and floral arrangements.  She exhibited at the Royal Canadian Academy, the Ontario Society of Artists and her work can be found in several prominent private, corporate and public collections.
