Biography of NITA OSBORNE FORREST

FORREST, Nita Osborne  (1926- ).  Born in Quesnel, British Columbia, and largely self-taught, Forrest studied with Herbert Siebner in Victoria, and was influenced by Maxwell Bates and Richard Ciccimarra. Active in Victoria since 1950, she is known for her watercolour and acrylic nudes and figure drawings. Her work is in the BAG, AGGV and CCAB.
