Biography of YEHUDA L. CHAKI
CHAKI, Yehuda L. (1938- ). Born in Athens, Greece, Chaki studied in Tel-Aviv in the early 1950s, then in Paris at l’École des Beaux-Arts from 1960-63. A teacher and landscape painter in acrylic and oil, he has also worked with murals, sculpture and tapestries. Chaki arrived in Montreal in 1963 and has taught at the Saidye Bronfman Centre in Montreal. His work is represented in the BAGF, the Philadelphia Museum and the MMFA.
